Individual Lessons - Terms & Conditions

1. Lesson Organization

  • Lessons are conducted online. The School provides a dedicated meeting link on the platform indicated by the Client, as well as the other tools necessary to run the lessons, including login credentials for the course management platform.

  • The teacher contacts the Student no later than 2 weeks before the course starts, providing access details and agreeing on a fixed lesson time.

2. Technical and Organizational Requirements

  • Participation in lessons requires an audio-video connection of a quality that allows smooth communication with the teacher, and the use of a headset.

  • The connection should take place in conditions conducive to learning - without excessive noise and without the presence of third parties.

  • Participation in lessons without the camera turned on is not possible.

  • The Student is prohibited from recording the audio and/or video of the meeting. The School does not record lessons, except for training purposes - and only after informing the Student in advance and obtaining their consent.

  • A School representative (supervisor) may take part in the lesson in order to monitor teaching quality.

  • All teaching materials made available during the course are for personal use only and may not be copied or distributed without the School's written consent.

  • The course is delivered on behalf of the Client, who covers its cost. The Client's representative has full visibility into the course, including attendance, progress, and information provided by the teacher.

3. Cancellations and Absences

  • The Student can manage their lesson bookings via the dedicated platform.

  • A lesson can be cancelled or rescheduled no later than 24 hours before it starts. Each lesson can only be rescheduled once. Missing a rescheduled lesson, or cancelling it again, results in it being marked as completed.

  • The Student is entitled to one absence per month (25%). Every subsequent absence - regardless of the reason - is also treated as a completed lesson.

  • The teacher's availability changes in real time, and the School is not responsible for situations where the Student cannot reschedule a lesson due to a lack of convenient availability on the teacher's part.

  • If the Student is more than 15 minutes late, the lesson is treated as cancelled too late and marked as completed.

  • In the event of the teacher's absence, the School will provide a substitute teacher or propose a new lesson time in agreement with the Student.

  • In the event of a planned longer absence (e.g., vacation, sick leave), the Student is required to inform the School at least 7 days in advance. Postponing or suspending the course is only possible with the School's consent and requires individual arrangements.

4. Summaries and Reports

  • Every 3 months, the Student and the teacher prepare a course summary together during the lesson. The results are recorded on the lesson board.

  • A progress report is prepared every semester and sent to the Student and to the course coordinator on the Client's side.

  • The School reserves the right not to issue a report for a Student whose attendance was below 70%.

5. Communication

  • The Student is responsible for making sure they receive email messages from the School.

  • If no messages are received, please contact the School at: hello@mellowmonday.pl.

  • Any comments regarding the lessons should be reported to the teacher or directly to the course supervisor.

6. Course Cancellation (Withdrawal)

  • Withdrawing from the course requires written notice with a one-month notice period, sent to: hello@mellowmonday.pl.

  • The withdrawal takes effect at the end of the next billing period.
